Since it’s the same day I’m not going to bore you with another quote but if you read tomorrows there will definately be one. Since I didn’t write since Friday I’ll tell you what’s been happening. Sunday I went to church and came home. I think me, Adam and John played GTA 3 all day. We went to 2:42(I miss calling it TAG!) and then mom, me and Adam went to Walmart where we proceeded to buy Adam some clothes that fit him. After dropping him off at his dorm mom and I went home where we quickly went to sleep. The next morning Javier picked me up at his usual time(LATE) and I went over to his house to watch the girls. Un-eventfull day. Monday night I drive the girls into town to meet Javier at Sonny’s for a quick supper and then it’s off to the ballpark. I rode with Joanne over to the ballpark but first we had to stop at Target and buy Joanne some clothes because Javier forgot to bring any for her. When we got to the ballpark at like thirty after the hour(my mom hates it when I tell time like that!) the other game was finishing. It was a sad loss for them I’m sure. Our team played really good but we still lost….by like one. So I took Javiers car home because he had an elders meeting the next day and I can drive……….so when I made it home Javier had called and mom told me that he said I could just spend the night. So I packed my stuff and went over there. I stayed up till eleven I think waiting for Mady to go to sleep so I could as well. (I sleep on the couch.) The next day I woke up at eight thirty surprised that the girls weren’t up and I went to the bathroom. As soon as I am done Mady wakes up and I’m changing Mady’s diaper when Taylar walks in the room. So we all got up at the same time…..I think we watched Finding Nemo. Can’t remember…… That night(Tuesday) I had to babysit Julie and Jason’s kids because they had a “date.” So at like four forty five Javier drove me over and Julie gave me all the instructions that moms give babysitters and she left. Javier calls like a half an hour later and asks if he can bring the girls over so I can watch them at the football game. I said fine and they came over at six. We had some pizza and we watched Lion King 1 1/2. Pretty funny…wasn’t expecting it to be. Javier picked the girls up at eight thirty….he scared Taylar with Jake(the Whitings dog) and they left. The other girls went to bed at nine thirty while I watched High School Reunion. Not a bad sitcom if I do say so myself. After that I watched king of queens and Jason and Julie got home at like eleven fifteen……..I was tired. I slept on the air mattress in the front room and I woke up at seven forty five. I took a shower and waited for Javier to come. He said he would come at eight. He is ALWAYS late!! Always….it never fails. So I’m waiting and I’m talking to Julie and she gets a phone call at eight fifteen. I said “it’s Javier.” Sure enough it was. He wanted me to start walking so I set forth on my journey and I didn’t even make it to the end of Marquis when he zoomed by. Um…..the rest of the day was uneventfull until around one when Holly’s tummy wasn’t feeling so good. There was definately a rumbly in there. I have debated coming tonight to youth group but I am coming. I cannot let the kids down!!! So Javier came home at three thirty and took me home. I took an hour nap and that actually made me feel quite refreshed. I’m looking at the clock and I really need to take off so I’ll write more tomorrow if I remember…….Oh one more thing. If you love foreign films(which I do!) you totally need to see Run Lola Run….It’s a Germany film that won an award at the Sundance Film Festival..It’s in Germam with subtitles…Gotta see it Love You All HOLLY
Hey All, Long time…no write! Ok, quote of the day: “IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII will always love Youuuuuuuuuuu!” Whitney Houston in her fabulous movie Bodyguard which also start Kevin Costner. It’s a great song. I went out and bought the soundtrack not long after I saw the movie…..So I guess I’ll write about today’s adventures….Well I’ll start with what I’m thinking right now. I don’t know how many people know this but right before Thanksgiving my fiance of almost two years broke up with me citing that we wouldn’t work things out. I cried a little…ok I cried alot….I thought my life was over. But God works in mysterious ways and I think I was really obsessed with being engaged. It was my life and Andres was the only person there for me. During this time I became more closer to God. I started back praying every single day instead of some times when I would remember. Well loe and behold a few weeks ago I get an email from him saying that he wants to talk and he made a big mistake by breaking things off. Fast forward a week or two and you’d find me at home with mom and candy when the phone rang. Guess who? It was Andres and I talked to him for awhile. I told him that we really needed to talk in person because I wanted to know right where he stood with God and I felt that we needed to do that in person. He told me he would buy me a plane ticket to Germany or he would try to take time off and fly over here. (Believe me: This was a tough choice….and to those that helped me thank you very much!) Finally I reached the conclusion that he needed to come over here because I didn’t want to seem like I was running to him……and secondly I knew there would be major temptations that I didn’t want to come up. So right now were waiting for him to get the ok to come down here but he didn’t know when. So were emailing now almost once every few days. I’m really excited becasue I have never stopped loving him. I don’t know if it’s sappy or what but whatever. Our Lord God is sooo amazing. I’m so glad I’ve chosen to believe in HIM!! Thanks for listening…well reading….to my ramblings.
Quote of the day: “Pull that pluggy on the pink thingy!” I actually said it….yesterday at the beach. Candace and I got up at five am because we had to take my dad to work and then we took the truck to the beach. Clearwater….it’s the only one we go to. We have a “spot.” I don’t know how we find it everytime but God leads us everytime. When we got there at around eight thirty we took our two coolers(with sandwiches and bottled water), our basket(with blanket, towels, sunscreen, a watch, a pink floatie, and three books), and change to put in the time thingy. We put a few hours worth in and then we went to put everything down….We did and then we sat down and read our books. There was like maybe two other people on the whole beach…we read for quite awhile but then I had to go to the bathroom. After I did my business I went to the gas station right next to where we were and tried to get some change. The guy said that he couldn’t give me any change but there was a change machine across the street. So wandering aimlessly I finally found it and got some change. I put the change in and went back to Candace. We “buttered” each other up and then went back to reading while trying not to get run over by the sand comber thingy……It was getting quite close. After awhile we went swimming and boy was it cold. Way cold. Colder than the Copp’s pool(Julie’s parents!). We read some more had some lunch and read some more. We went back in the water and had some fun…..We didn’t see any sharks or dolphins but we did see some guy swimming. It reminded me of a Seinfeld episode where Kramer swims in the East River. It was hilarious. Well traffic was sooooo ridiculous on the way home it took like three hours. Stop and Go. Stop and Go. Stop and Go. Horrible. Then last night I went to Sonny’s with Nils, Candy, Adam and Drew. We had a blast. Afterwards Nils drove us all back to my house and we watched Wrestlemania. Nils smiled a few times at it. Well truely exciting…..Oh back to my quote…..I told Candy that when we were getting ready to go….HOLLY
Hey Y’all…..”You sexy baby…..you drive me crazy!” HeeHee. It’s from a song. Which is in Night at the Roxburry. Which is the, and I mean it, greatest movie of all time. Chris Kataan, Will Ferrel, Molly Shannon, and Loni Anderson….Doesn’t get any bettter. Yeah it does. Don’t be fooled. There are some out there that must be named: NILS, that do not like this film. They would be losers. This is a movie you can watch over and over and over and over…..well you get the point. This music makes me want to get up and dance. I love dancing….I just wish that I was good at it! Tomorrow Candy and I and maybe someone else are going to the beach. We are leaving early because I have to take my dad to work. He has to be there at like five thirty. So right after that we are leaving for Clearwater. I cannot wait. It has been almost a year since I went to Clearwater last. And boy was that hilarious! I went with Kate, John, and Candy. We were out wading in the water when I saw fins in the water(and if you know me I am petrified of sharks!!!). So first thought to my mind is “SHARKS!” (I didn’t scream that if that’s what your thinking….well at least not out loud!) So my big butt ran, as fast as I could, out of the water and out to dry land. I may have made a record there, don’t know. Well I was standing on the beach and all the other guys are still out there in the water when I hear some tourists talking about the dolphins out there in the water!!! Silly me…..they were dolphins not sharks. So slowly and as cool as I could I walked back out to where they were all still standing and wading. Didn’t feel very cool after that……That was also the day a seagull snatched a chip of my dair-e-air! Another story….another time!!! I love You All HOLLY
Quote of the Day: “Anxious…aren’t you?” Lord Farquod in Shrek……Were watching it today since Mady and Taylar are over. Some people are looking at the house today. Hopefully they will like it and buy it. Today was PlayDate for kids. I took the girls to Chik-Fil-A and had a blast. Had a little lunch, played a little….got down tonight. Heehee. There were only four other moms there. Not bad I guess. We stayed for about two and a half hours and then left. We stopped by Javier and Joannes new house. The walls are up so that was quite exciting…..I guess. On Pleasant Hill there was an overturned dump truck and that made us take some time there. We must have been there for over twenty minutes. Both girls fell asleep and by the time I got to my house they were still konked out. When I stopped they both woke up…those brats! They haven’t gone back to sleep so they’ll be grouchy when mommy and daddy come get them. So that brings us back to being at my house watching Shrek. OK to go back a few days to the all night prayer vigil. Adam, me, and John stayed there till morning. I got there about three thirty and they got there at four thirty and beyond. At about seven or seven thirty Adam, John and me were sitting around on our own chairs with a chair in the middle with all our feet on them. We had a container full of salted nuts eating them away. It was great. Cyndi Baker helped us eat them while she waited for David to finish praying. We played Clue(which John had never played before) and Monopoly(which Javier kept on saying I was cheating but I wasn’t. He was just trying to tick me off!!). We played Scrabble but me and Adam were the only good players. Drew and John kept on trying to make stupid words and they didn’t know how to play. Adam had eleven cups of coffee and John and I had Ginger Ale. (I have never peed so much in my life!!) At about five or six in the morning we found ourselves by ourselves sitting exactly how we were sitting at the begining of our time together. We each had our own chair and we all had our feet on one chair. And you guessed it we were passing around the peanuts! Good times. Though that morning when Paul Wasmun(who was the last to pray) came we told him to blow out the candles an we left. Only to sleep an hour and go right back to church……..Man alive I was tired. I sat through service with mom while David Adam slept through it in the youth room. Afterwards mom told me I could’ve slept too….Yeah right. That would have been useful info at the begining of the service. Anywho…I’m very sorry for not writing since last Wednesday. I love YOU ALL HOLLY
“The first prize goes to the vampires for most blood drained in a single evening!” From the ever wonderful mind of Tim Burton: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie is one of my fave’s. Tim Burton is sooo great. His movies have this wonderful dark morbid feeling. The movie is about Jack the pumpkin king wanting to fit in with his “group.” But he ventures off and steals Christmas from Santy Clause. It’s great. Great songs and great claymation. This was one of the first movies that had claymation and they had over a thousand different faces and masks for the main people. Today was not a interesting day. I guess nothing exciting happened to write about. Ummmm…..Taylar and Mady and me had a very un-eventful day. Taylar and I played Toy Story Memory game while Mady took her morning nap. I won because of default but I was winning anyway. Taylar loses interest in things quickly. It takes us a long time to clean her room because if I ask her to pick up one thing she has to play with it…..Well that’s all…..HOLLY
Quote of the Day: “You are a flagalating butthead!” From Scrooged. Good times……dad’s watching it now as is Candy….I’m kinda watching it since I’m on the computer. I’ve been reading this book called What to do Until Love Finds You. This book is great. I just started to read it last week and I’m almost done. It talks about how we should wait and what to find in a mate. It is super-de-duper great! I thought it was soooo good I wrote the author and told her what a wonderful thing it was and how blessed I was that I read it. If your waiting for your mate or even if you have them…..you should read this. Today I watched Don Juan DeMarco which Johnny Depp stars in. It isn’t too bad. I wouldn’t tell you to just go out and rent it but it is good. Well that wasn’t that exciting was it?????? I guess if your reading this you’ll have to wait until tommorrow and something exciting happens(not promising tomorrow andything exciting will happen)!!!! HOLLY
